GA-B2100CT Series

Nature-minded - Incorporating sustainability and organic sources

This collection adopts a theme of sustainability by using recycled materials. Their bands are made of materials from the FOOD TEXTILE project, which recycles discarded foodstuffs to create dyes. The base model is the octagon GAB2100, equipped with Smartphone Link and Tough Solar. The cloth band of the GAB2100CT1A5 model is dyed a dark brown color extracted from coffee, while the cloth band of the GAB2100CT-5A model is dyed a khaki gray hue extracted from echinacea.

Organic cotton cloth bands colored with natural dyes speak to the theme of coexistence with nature. The material and dyes employ certified sustainable TRUECOTTON and FOOD TEXTILE products, drawing on our dedication to craftsmanship to support a lifestyle focused on wellbeing.

Compact and slim

Starting with the DW5600, modelled after the shape of the very first G-SHOCK, we made these watches even slimmer and smaller to ensure a better fit on the wrist and make this popular, iconic design easy to add to your wardrobe.

GMDS5600CT Series

Bands in gentle colors derived from nature

More than 90% of the band coloring is achieved using natural dyes to create distinctively gentle hues. The bands are made of TRUECOTTON, a traceable organic cotton that can be farm-and-mill-identified to reduce the burden on the environment while protecting the working environment and craftsmanship of all those involved in its production. The main resin parts of these models are made of bio-based resin, a material derived from renewable organic resources that is expected to contribute to reducing CO2 emissions and to alleviating other environmental impact. This means that material that was once trash is reborn as a new watch, making these new models sustainable environmentally friendly timepieces.

The cloth bands undergo a coloring process using FOOD TEXTILE dyes extracted from food waste and plants that would otherwise have been discarded. Red turnip (GMDS5600CT-3) and sakura cherry blossom (GMDS5600CT-4) are just two of these original dyes. The soft pastel tones add gentle color to your nature-minded lifestyle.

*Variations in density and coloration in the natural fibers give the bands a distinctive texture and color.

A brand of a fashion industry project focusing on reusing food waste to produce original dyes and providing threads and fabrics colored using these dyes. The project supports a sustainable lifestyle with the concept of “breathing new life into what would otherwise go to waste.”

Band material ensures a comfortable fit

The cloth band is crafted from finely woven fabric, using traceable organic TRUECOTTON, a material recognized for its ethical sourcing. The band, accented with a metal buckle and band loops, provides a smooth, comfortable fit on the wrist.

*Variations in density and coloration in the natural fibres give the bands a distinctive texture and color.
