Charles Darwin Foundation partnership model, inspired by creatures that live in the Galápagos Islands
Presenting a partnership model designed with the Charles Darwin Foundation, an organisation that researches biological evolution and diversity in the Galápagos Islands. With themes inspired by creatures that live in the Galápagos Islands — the hammerhead shark, the giant tortoise, and Darwin’s finch — the watch design incorporates the silhouettes of wild creatures and the rich natural environments where they live.

Galápagos giant tortoise [ GW-B5600CD-9DR]
The Galápagos giant tortoise (Chelonoidis niger) tends to inhabit arid, rocky locations. A charming silhouette of the tortoise, with its big, domed shell, adorns the watch face, band loop, and LCD (when the backlight is activated).
Hammerhead shark [GW-B5600CD-1A2DR]
The unique appearance of the hammerhead shark, with its head that protrudes laterally in a “T” shape, appears in silhouette form. A sea-inspired, all-over pattern decorates the face, and the band loop features a die-cut hammerhead shark motif. A silhouette of the shark also appears on the LCD when the backlight is illuminated.
Darwin’s finch [GW-B5600CD-1A3DR]
The face design features one of the Darwin’s finches that inspired Darwin’s theory of evolution. The finch is perched amid the foliage of a Scalesia forest, one of its preferred habitats. The motif is printed on the face and featured as a die-cut on the band loop. It also appears on the LCD when the backlight is activated.
Special features to commemorate a special collaboration
The Charles Darwin Foundation logo is engraved on the case back, and the statement “Apoyo la conservación de Galápagos.” (Spanish for “I support Galápagos conservation.”) is printed on the band. The watch comes complete with special, plastic-free packaging.
